I cannot get my brain in gear today. Blah. I've accomplished a little here at work despite that - mostly through sheer force of will.
Going to go work out this afternoon because maybe that'll make me feel more lively. Here's to hoping! Probably just hit the recumbent bike since I know I'm still not at full power after being sick last week.
I'm reading The Boleyn Inheritance by the same person who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl. I admit I saw the movie but didn't read that one, but I'm enjoying this one. Political and romantic intrigue with royals. It's fun. More fun than Breaking Dawn, which I'm having to force myself through. It's too long, and having a whole book with no plot is one thing, but having a whole book with no plot and then essentially tacking a shorter book WITH a plot on at the end? I don't get it. At all. I've loved the first three Twilight books, but this one's boring and annoying all at the same time. Super!Bella = yawn. The section from Jacob's point of view was fun, but... the whole thing is just... bah. I'm disappointed that things fell apart so much at the end. With the other books, I saw improvement in quality every time. I was actually impressed by the author's learning curve. I can't see how she could've written this one before the middle two, but the quality is just not there. I'll finish it, but for now it's relegated to bathroom reading.
