[ There is a bit of static at first, but gradually the image finally comes to and we see what looks like to be the inside of Traverse Town. The canera suddenly turns to zoom in on the owner's waist (wtf belts) and eventually lifts to focus on the face. Here's Squall ... staring at the lens. Hi. He's completely unaware that he's being recorded so enjoy having him glare at the camera just a little. Not at you! Well maybe at you. You'll never know?
Don't mind him! He's just trying to understand how it works and what it's used for. He doesn't say anything and eventually turns it over so that it's facing the ground before the video shuts off then on then off and then on again while focusing on his feet. It doesn't take him long to figure out that this is some sort of communication recorder and that others might be able to see him, so the camera returns back to his face again. Took him long enough, right? ]
Is anyone out there that can see this? Zell? Quistis? Selphie? Irvine? .... Rinoa? Where am I?

[ A quick look is given to his feet before turning his attention back to the camera. His voice takes on a more stern and commanding tone without a trace or hint of worry. ]
This is Squall Leonhart, a member of SeeD and Commander of Balamb Garden. I'm not familiar with this area. If anyone can tell me the quickest way I can return to-

[ With that, Squall simply ... facepalms. For the past hour and a half, he was unsuccessful in trying to lose the moogle who appeared very interested in him. After learning the name of the town and receiving the device from the Mogole, Squall was uninterested in hearing anything more and immediately left to find the answers himself. But the Moogle was quite persistent in finishing his job and would not leave his side until he at least heard the explanation he gave everyone on arrival. So impatient! All Squall knew was if this was some sort of forgotten SeeD mission, it was quite possibly his worst one yet. ]
What is it? You already said you can't help me return home.
I know! I can't, kupo! But I still need to tell you why you're here!
[ A pause and Squall nods, setting a hand on his hip. ]

Unsure of what else to do, he places a hand over the lens of the camera while mumbling one final word before it was shut off the feed entirely. ]
