If you want to hunt the heartless I don’t know that it is required to sign up for a position however if you want I believe you can ask the King or Queen about it and be assigned some where.

King Mickey Mouse and Queen Minnie Mouse. I am not sure where the King is, but the Queen can often be found at Disney Castle.

I've been wondering the same thing, I need to find employment as well. Many have signed up to fight against the Heartless, but if you'd rather something quieter, I'm sure you could get a position as a shopkeeper or assist at an inn or restaurant.

Chloe sent me this... thing, a form, for signing up to hunt Heartless. I figured... since it's all I know how to do, it would be a good way to make gil.

Er, munny. Besides, I don't think I would be comfortable working as a shopkeeper. [ Innkeeper...maybe. But much further down the line. ]

It's not a bad idea to play to your strengths, especially if that's what you're comfortable with. I, too, plan to enlist to hunt Heartless. Until now, I've mostly been doing research.
