[It's the fact that he's fought for his galaxy that calls her attention sharply to his struggle. She calls out for whatever little good it will do, now that she has such direct and bitter experience:]
[The voice catches Obi-Wan's attention, but he struggles to locate its source. It doesn't matter. They're trying to help him-- he can recognize that much. --Illusions...? Awfully realistic for an illusion, but he does reach out with his mind. The choking force around his throat makes it hard to concentrate, but it's clear he's trying.]
The only illusion here is believing you can make a difference.
[And she's doing a fine job of it, too. Those words instill strength into him-- not the same strength that was fueled by his anger and devastation, but one fueled by the Light side of the Force. By hope, and compassion. She was right: he could fight this! He would!
He summons all of the Force around him, concentrating on breaking that hold. With everything he can muster, he pushes out with the Force, sending a wave out with enough strength behind it to shove the Sith back and break his hold. Obi-Wan promptly drops, gasping in the air; he can't afford to give the Sith that opportunity again.
It's here that he sees his communicator and the young woman on the other side.] Thank you.
[The Sith isn't gone yet, however. How does one defeat an illusion? It's much too strong for his mind to penetrate, so he decides that he must instead defeat this monster first.]
[Turning his attention toward Oswald, his eyes narrow quite a bit. He'd gladly take any help he could get. Starkiller was ready to give him the benefit of the doubt.]
[Not real? The images of the Jedi, of his Master and Anakin being slaughtered were all too real... Wait-- ...Starkiller? Obi-Wan, for a moment, strains to see the two that have suddenly appeared in the council room, but if the Sith keeps strangling him like so, he'll be unconscious soon. He tries to focus, concentrating on his will-- on the Force. Strong as he is, the Force grip on his throat is powerful.
The Sith doesn't seem all that concerned with Oswald and Starkiller, but he still has his lightsaber drawn and will use it if he deems necessary.]
You think they can help you, Kenobi? No. You'll die like your Master and the rest of the Jedi Order!
[That statement is enough to get a furious rise out of Obi-Wan, who releases a defiant wave of the Force, knocking the Sith's own concentration off kilter. Now was the two's chance to take a strike!]
[Chloé had watched these movies… once, he wasn’t the biggest fan and therefore did not know all of the names of the people on the council being destroyed, but that didn’t matter. This time is wasn’t just a movie, not just actors on a screen… ]
Be careful! This is an illusion but you can still be hurt by it! You have to find and destroy the duck!
[That much has become apparent to him now. As he lays on the floor, gripping his leg, he hears another voice on the communicator next to him. He doesn't take his eyes off the fight, but his attention is also very much on the voice.]
How do I reach the duck? [Nevermind that he can't walk, let alone stand! HE'S GOING TO DEFEAT THAT DUCK.] I believe it is the Sith, but he's very powerful...! We've hardly been able to scratch him...
Of course...! This isn't about defeating him physically. [Why didn't he see it before? ...Because his anger had blinded him. He isn't as bad about it as he was when he was a boy, but it's still very much a work in progress. 'We are not saints, we are seekers,' he reminds himself, mimicking something he's heard Qui-Gon say.]
It feels real. [He sucks in a sharp breath through his teeth, trying to scoot himself up against a wall. Very difficult with one's leg sliced and burned open.] I-- I don't intend to stop. I will fight. [Somehow, blast it all. He can barely stand with this injury, but the Force is with him. He'll survive.] I'm certain it's that Sith-- the source of this terrible dream. He'll leave himself open; I'll strike then.
[His voice, though riddled with pain, is just as filled with confidence and hope.]
[Referring to Darth Vador. The boy doesn't seem that concerned. For one it doesn't really effect him no matter what happens to Obi Wan.. for another he knows these are dreams now]
[While the Sith is busy dueling it out with Oswald and Starkiller, Obi-Wan remains on the floor, attempting to tend to his injury and... deciding not to dignify that with a response. It would be much too easy to fall back into frustration and anger; he can't afford that distraction while his friends are warding off his nightmare.]
[It's what Ciel is best at. Inspiring frustration and anger... apparently. Actually the entire scene is a bit bizarre to the Earl. Shafts of light.. acting as swords? He finds himself pondering whether those devices are anymore harmful than.. oh say a regular sword.]

They're illusions. Focus your mind!

You can make a difference. Everything you do, everyone you protect, everything you fight for, all of that shapes everything around you.
Giving up makes a difference, too - you'll lose those important things! So fight this!

[Off pops his ear, turning into a black lightsaber-looking weapon! No sound effects included, sadly.]

[Orders miraculously given without slipping into any kind of German to accidentally confuse the situation… as often happened with Chloé. ]
Tell me where you were before! Were you still in Traverse Town?
Maybe you could...
[Can't believe he is saying this. ]
... use 'the force' to smash the duck?
