[The dream opens with Locke and Rachel rushing into a cave on a treasure hunting expedition. He's extremely giddy about finding her an engagement ring that he's reckless, running across a ledge without looking.

His communicator is turned on when his girlfriend viciously pushes him off the falling rock, plummeting to the ground.]
