[It's been a long time in coming. Aqua has devoted most of her time to watching over Ven, but she knows her duties are just as important as her friendship. This can't wait any longer, and she's out of the loop on so much. She can't just sit back and do nothing when other people are suffering, when more worlds are being claimed day after day. She

[Kairi had gone to one her favourite spots on the islands, calmly standing on the edge and looking out at the nice calming water. This made her smile for a moment before turning her head when she heard splashing. Turning her head she watched quietly. It seemed calming and nice as she quietly walked on over.]

Hello there.

[Vaporeon continues to leap and splash in the water, and Aqua is so distracted with watching the Pokemon, she doesn't notice Kairi's approach. When she does, she blinks and almost does a double-take. Speaking to an older Kairi over the network was one thing, but seeing how much the girl had grown when she barely reached Aqua's knee before is a startling difference.]

Oh -- Kairi!

[watchesthesea]

[She nods slightly, smiling and tilting her head. She was more use to talking to people over the network, so actually meeting someone was rare. This didn't include Sora at all since she's known him for years. Straightening up her skirt a little bit she finally speaks.]

That's my name. [She looks over to the Vaporeon again for a moment before letting out a slight chuckle.]

Well they appear to be enjoying themselves in the water.

[lightguiding]

Ah... You don't remember me. I should have expected as much.

[Almost as if knowing Kairi was talking about her, Vaporeon runs out the water, still dripping, and nuzzles against Aqua's hand. Then the Pokemon stares up at Kairi with large eyes.]

I'm Aqua, and this is Vaporeon.

[watchesthesea]

[She blinked a couple of times, looking rather confused. Don't remember her, she really didn't she was certain of that. Unless she had appeared at Destiny Island at some point... or even a point she doesn't remember.]

Well it's nice to meet you, Aqua. Though sorry, I really don't remember you.

[She blinked a couple of times before going down to the Pokemon's level, hand stretched out slightly.]

And hello there Vaporeon.

[lightguiding]

Por! [The Pokemon continues to look up at her, then pads towards Kairi's outstretched hand. Vaporeon sniffs it, then tentatively licks her fingers.

Aqua watches, smiling slightly.]

That's unusual. She's a little more wary of strangers than that, but she seems to like you.

[watchesthesea]

[She laughs slightly, it kind of tickled before she stroked it lightly.]

She's pretty adorable. Though maybe she can sense I don't have any bad intentions.

[lightguiding]

I think so, too. She's very intelligent.

[Vaporeon nuzzles into Kairi's hand and rubs against her, cat-like. Aqua looks up, back at Kairi.]

You really don't remember me, then? It was a long time ago that we last met...

[watchesthesea]

[She shakes her head, nothing came to mind, if it had been a long time ago would it have been in the time she has forgotten?]

No, last thing I remember was arriving here and being taken in by the mayor

[lightguiding]

[Aqua nods, and then something catches her eye.]

That pendant you're wearing... [She reaches as if to touch it, but draws her hand back. Even from this distance she can still sense the enchantment she placed on it. It's a very old enchantment now, but still in place, unfading.] I think that might have been what brought you here, Kairi.

[watchesthesea]

[She looks down at her pendent, before taking it lightly within her hands. She always just thought it was a normal pendant, once that she always had as a child.]

This pendant brought me here?

[Then again, she wasn't sure how she got here in the first place, it couldn't be so crazy. But at the same time, she had never been one to really question how she got here, this really was the first she talked about it.]

How did it do that? Do you know?

This will sound hard to believe, if you don't remember, but... I met you, when you were just a child. To keep you safe, I placed an enchantment on that pendant.

[She figures Kairi deserves to know that much about her past, if she doesn't remember it for herself.]

Whenever you were in trouble, your light would draw you to the light of another. It must have worked.

[She was polite and listened to the story, a enchantment on her pendant? Could that have been how she ended up here. It was rather confusing to say the least, but yet... she knew she wasn't from here, she knew she had come from somewhere else, she just had no idea of where, nor had she been one to try and find out.

She nodded slightly, looking down.]

So... Does that mean that the enchantment is what brought me here?

[lightguiding]

I think it must have. [She smiles, folding her arms behind her back.] It must have known that Sora would be here to take care of you.

[watchesthesea]

[She smiled a large smile, placing her hands in front as she nodded.] Maybe and I'm glad it did bring me here. After all I made such great friends.
