You need to do some things in order to have good luck in the New Year and it is a lot of fun too. You have never celebrated it either?

Well, because a new year gives you the chance to do everything you couldn't do the year before.

I usually go to a shrine and purchase a New Year's goodluck charm, but eating mochi can give you good luck and Ami says if you dream about Mount Fuji that can give you good luck too!

... I don't know what any of those things are. Does that mean I'm going to have bad luck this year...?

No! That can't... I mean there has to be something we can do to give you good luck! How about I bring you some New Year's mochi? That way you should be able to get some luck from that at least.
