[Yeah, well, it's about to get weirder.]
That's not all, Terra - it didn't kill me, because he didn't take my whole heart. He just took the dark part of it, so I was... out of it, like when we met. But that's the weird part - I found myself falling through darkness, and then landing on this thing, and then there was this voice around me. It said it was a new heart, that had just been born, and it had felt my pain. It offered to help fix my heart with a part of its own - and it worked. We stayed linked together like that until I woke up, and you and Aqua were there when I did.

Not anymore - it was Sora's. He kept me safe and helped me heal. You've gotta meet him, and all of them, you'll like them a lot.
[And he can see that Ven and Sora are practically twins.]

Terra, you don't need to control it. Maybe Master Eraqus wasn't right when he said that you can't have any, I don't know, but the Darkness... it feeds on you. It's like the most perfect trap, and Aqua and me... we almost lost you to it last time. I don't want to see that happen again.

[The sudden movement and emotional explosion leaves Ven stunned, and he can only stare. Terra does have a temper, no denying that - for a horrible moment, he can see how easy it was for Xehanort to get control over him.]
...I mean it, Terra. [He's quiet, but heartfelt.] You're the best of all of us. You're my hero.

After everything that you just told me, I can't be a hero. Heroes can see when something's wrong, or if a friends in danger, or that someone else is trying to control them. ...I didn't see any of it.

You saved me, Terra, and you never betrayed us. You did what you thought was right, at least. I just ran off after you and caused everyone a lot of problems. If I'd just stayed home like Aqua and the Master wanted...
