[At first there's nothing but the view of a horse's neck, nodding as it walks, and the mountain trail ahead, along with the steady crunch of hooves in the snow. The communicator seems to have been turned on unintentionally, since nothing interesting happens for a while. That is, until they reach a cliff providing a better view. In the distance, the Imperial Palace of the Land of Dragons can be seen. Zuko's voice is heard as he mutters under his breath:]
It's almost like home... but still different.
[He carries on along the trail, until his horse suddenly grinds to a halt and shies away from something not seen on camera.] Whoa! [Zuko pulls on the reins to try to get his horse under control, which is thankfully an easier feat with a horse than when riding a komodo rhino. Once his steed is calmed, he dismounts to investigate.
There's a egg at the side of the road, on an outcrop precariously close to the cliff edge. Despite a fresh layer of snow having fallen within the past hour, the snow on the egg and on the ground around it have all melted to slush. It's abnormally large, and patterned flame-like with red and gold. But Zuko doesn't touch it -- he remembers how poorly that turned out at the Sun Temple, and the horse's reaction suggests that the egg might not be normal. Instead, he reaches for his communicator, only to find it already on. He doesn't bother to speculate how long it was recording for already, and gets straight to the point.]
--Does anyone know what this is? I just found it lying here by the road.
[He has, in fact, found a Pokémon egg. But since he wasn't around for that event, he has no idea it would date back from then.]
