Ah, well... [How to explain it?] See, there were these... weather disturbances that looked remarkably like Einstein-Rosen Bridges. Thor sort of confirmed that theory and his friends even arrived through the same wormhole! I've yet to go through it myself since we were a bit preoccupied at the time before I got here, though.
