It's a scientist that studies that physics of the universe. We sort of branch of astronomy and deal with more how things in space behave, interact, and move about.

Just waving our weapons around blindly isn't going to restore our worlds. I tried it. I think it's going to take more than fighting to return things to the way they were this time. Like...learning about how this place really works, and stuff. Not just accepting what we're told, but figuring out why it does what it does.

I've never heard of The Darkness myself. The closest thing I could think of it being is Dark Matter. But... something tells me its a bit more than just Dark Matter...

[Scientifically, Dark Matter was just matter that didn't emit or scatter light. But considering she was in a place that had magic and things like that? She doubted it was simply that. And she sure as hell knew it wasn't a Black Hole.]
