03 [Accidental Video/Action] Here in a flash and gone without a trace

[Here's Riku on a day trip to Traverse-- except he seems to be getting sidetracked. The view is odd, his communicator clearly taping the whole thing from where it fell on the ground. But even in the dimness of Traverse's eternal nights, something odd is clearly going on

[There is a friend in trouble and what does one do when a friend is in rouble? Go to where they are and run into it head first of course.]

We don't know what we're up against. [Case in point, the invisible hand has just dragged him out of sight of the communicator but still fairly close to the alley from the sound of his voice. The feed shows nothing for several seconds then Riku drops down nearly on top of the communicator, scooping it up in his free hand. A large bruise noticeably covers his left bicep.]

I've got it under control. It might go after you next if you come here.

Do you think it's some kind of Heartless that can't be seen?

[The more she watches this, the more and more worried she is getting and the more and more she wants to help.]

It might be. [But Invisibles are too powerful to have appeared so suddenly in Traverse... and this one didn't seem interested in fighting him so much as making sport of him.]

Stay where you are, Kairi. [He can't stress this enough. He has his back to the wall now, not even looking at the communicator in favor of keeping an eye on the surroundings. And then Riku's torso jerks towards the left a bit, a loud rip signalling that his vest has finally had enough of the abuse.]

[Not that she can move anywhere since she is sitting on a ship, so you're safe in thinking that she ain't moving. Though mister invisible is annoying her the more she watches.]

[You are going to stay in port when you arrive like a good princess if he can help it, missy. But Kairi's outburst appears to have sparked something because something white flashes at the corner of Riku's eye and he turns-- unfortunately their mystery invisible uses this opportunity to yank Riku's communicator away. Great. An otherworldly cackling starts to make itself heard, echoing around the alley as it zips around and then---

Have a view of rapidly shrinking Traverse and starry skies, Kairi-- up until Riku releases Dark bursts of energy three inches above and below the communicator. A transluscent white spirit flashes into existence briefly, then Riku's communicator falls.]

...What was that? [Riku snatches his communicator out of the air but the apparition doesn't appear again.]

[Has she ever actually listened to what anyone has said before? But for now all she can do is watch be very worried like a good friend should, sitting on a ship and making her way towards Traverse Town. Which hopefully will be within a good number of minutes.]

I...don't know. But whatever it was does have some type of form.

Right. [Riku's not sure what to make of it, but as long as it didn't bother anyone anymore, he can probably let it be. Relaxing his stance, he moves back towards the more crowded areas.]

It didn't smell like a Heartless.

Maybe they could have been those Nobodies, after all they appeared to be white in colour.

[She sat there thinking quietly for a moment, that could be it, but could they even be invisible?]

Nobodies... Kinda smell too, sometimes.

[But Riku shakes his head and turns towards port.] I'll meet you at the landing dock. You shouldn't have gotten on. [He's just being worried.]

Then I wonder what they are.

[She stops her thoughts for a moment as the ship stops.]

Oh, I guess I must be here now and don't worry, I wanted to get on, can't help but worry over friends, right?

I know. [And she'll see a Riku waiting, arms folded.]

[Kairi soon is off the ship and waving, yep not feeling at all bad for staying on the island.]

You didn't get too hurt did you?

[Riku raises his hand in reply, waiting for her to come over.]

Just my vest. [And Riku'll show the rips.] They didn't break skin. [At least the bruises won't bleed.]
