My world hasn't been taken by the Darkness but I still don't see anything wrong with keeping hope that things can be restored.

Having hope is never a bad thing, even if you are being brutally honest with your opinion, that's not reason to tear down other people who want to believe otherwise.

It's not. Just 'cause reality isn't so great sometimes doesn't mean there's no hope.
