Melbourne : Zumbaron
When I heard that Adriano Zumbo was going to open a shop in Melbourne, I really thought "yes! finally can eat his macaroon without going to Sydney". Zumbo's macaroon is definitely very famous because of its unique flavour : apple pie, christmas pudding, butter popcorn and etc.
Well, for me it's too sweet but the popcorn flavour was funny but delicious.
The Popcorn flavoured Macaroon and the orange chocolate cake. Well, the cake is indeed look super cute but the chocolate taste overwhelmed the orange ;( I would say that the taste is so-so unfortunately.
I like this cake better ! I forgot the name but I remember they used something from sunflower hahaha.
Also tried their cronut "Zonut" but didn't really like it :p
However, the most annoying thing is that the shop turns out to be very small with only 3-4 tables for dine in, and the chairs were not comfortable either. I will come more often if they increased their chairs and tables. But overall, their macaroons are worth to try :)!
