Bad, bad weather
This is right down the road from my house. I just came back in from watching Sugar Creek Water Rescue bring out a family from the house near the creek. All people and animals were brought out safely, but they've probably lost everything. She had driven her car out to the road in an effort to leave sometime during the night and was stuck on the bridge. Who knows how long she had been there with her son in the car. I had a sickening feeling that the car would get washed away with the kid still in it, but they all made it out safely.
Please be careful everyone who lives around here. Cities are being declared disasters and many major roads are underwater. There's more rain coming as well. *sigh*
