no longer homesick, just home and sick
I'm home! It is lovely to be here. I had a grand time at the Glenn youth reunion seeing lots of fabulous alums (the current youth, meanwhile, are totally unknown to me and look frightfully young). In celebration, I got sick. :-( I had some sort of stomach bug. Not again! It kicked in late Sunday night. Monday during the day I was feeling a little better, although I still didn't eat anything until dinner (toast and a banana). Then in the evening my fever abruptly rose again. I stayed at home with Dad's bootleg Doctor Who DVD (that was really a rather dark Christmas special, don't you think?) while the rest of the family went to pick out a Christmas tree. Now, Tuesday morning, I think I'm finally actually getting better. Good.
