awww, my very first coffee shop stalker!
I have a stalker. A handicapped stalker.
Last night I went in to work a little early so I decided to walk around deep ellum for awhile. I went into the vintage clothing shop which is closing soon so they have 50% off everything! It's great. Yea, so while I was walking down Elm there was this guy in this really nice white car just driving along next to me. ANd he started questioning me. asking all these questions.
"where are you going?" uhhh, to work.
"where do you work?" Of course I didn't want to tell him where I really worked so i told him Crave which is this bar/club thingy right across the street.
"what's your name?" Lauren! but i have to go! bye!
So yea, I thought I was never going to see that guy again, but he came into the coffee shop 15 minutes later!
"hey lauren!so you work at both places?" I was really confused at this moment because this guy was in a wheelchair and I just didn't think it was the same guy, but then i realized that it was indeed stalker guy in the car. Ha, so I felt really stupid because he found out I didnt work at Craves. He ordered his coffee and left. And then guess what. You are not gonna believe what this fool did. He called back to the coffee shop and asked for Lauren so I had to talk to him for awhile. I couldn't hang up because I would've felt awful. He told me where he lived and told me he would be a regular at the coffee shop and asked if i would go out with him sometime. I was like...uhh, maybe. But it's a definite no, because he is all scary/shady/stalkerish. Plus he's old.
The rest of the night was cool. Lots of interesting people came in and I had lots of cool conversations. Including one with the really cute guitarist of some band called Tsunami Bomb They were playing with the matchbook romance at TREES, right down the street.
I have to close at Limited Too tonight. poo on that.
