I'm warning you now, so if you're not interested, move along.
The first picture up is an update on my blanket I'm making.
The last square that is still on the needles is off now. The bed is a twin-sized bed to give you an idea of how wide the blanket is thus far. Each square is approximately 11.5"x11.5", and I'm starting the tenth one now.
The next completed project is
Fetching from knitty.com, and these took me literally a day to complete.
*This is the closest to the actual color.
How much yarn was left over, less than one skein!
Next is a dishcloth I made from Peaches & Creme, colorway "Peppermint."
It was such a fun and simple knit that I decided for the Knitting Olympics I will be making six of them!! I will let you how they are going here, and will be starting on August 8th at 8 PM Central Time.
Finally, meet Hugh.
While Hugh is happy to be in Humboldt, he is not very happy about the lack of water and the warm weather. So off we went intothe apartment, looking for a good place for him to live.
While he enjoyed the idea of cool water and a larger swimming area, he did not like the idea of sharing his pool with the dirty dishes.
The bathroom looked like a much nicer area, and brighter! Even better, no dishes to fight with! Let's try the water!
I think he likes it...
Success!!
Just for a size reference, here he is next to the paperback Wicked.
