A real update
1. I GOT A JOB!! It's at Muskegon Country Club, and I'm working in the snack shop. I went in today to help set some things up since we had a ton to do and it wouldn't be done in two hours. Zarah gets there and says, "Well, Steve (The main chef and my boss) and I were talking and we're going to have you be assistant manager since you know already how to do a lot of the things in here." Now, today was my third day. Yeah, I rock. I'm also one of the oldest ones there, Zarah is a lot younger than me.
2. Amy's getting married Saturday. It's so weird to think that she's getting married, it makes me feel so old, even though she's only 6 weeks younger than me. It should be really pretty and fun though, she wants Pachebel's Canon played while she walks down the aisle, and I'm thinking of playing the theme of Brahm's 1st Symphony during the unity candle since it's a really nice arrangement. I still need to call and see if this will work out for her, but I don't really think she'll care. If she does, I have some other songs that are in the book on the sidelines.
3. I'm getting really nice tan. I went to Michigan Adventures last week, and what a blast. Katy's boyfriend Jimbo and I went on the Funnel of Fear, which looks like this
and it was SO FUN. I was shaking when I got off due to the quick adrenaline rush I got on it. It's huge, and better than any rollar coaster I've ever been on. Alan and Katy were standing on this bridge near the wide end of the funnel, and I remember looking at them and Alan and Katy were both standing there with this shocked and "I'm SO glad I didn't go on this ride/I really hope my girl/boyfriend doesn't die in front of me" look on their faces. Anyways, at Michigan Adventures, I burned, so now my skin is tanning nicely despite my paleness.
4. Open Letter to Straights. Go and read it. It's really good.
