My first paycheck (for around a month of work) arrived in the mail today. It's not much compared to what I used to make, but it seems like a small fortune to my broke ass, so I'm exultant. Time for a haircut. Oh god, I need a haircut.
I continue to work on my writing, and recently I've turned out a short piece I am very happy with. It's not a full story, but I'll be working on an actual short story soon. It's an old idea, in actuality probably close to ten years old, but at recent review (by myself and a good friend), it's worth writing. Gotta start somewhere.
In other good news, my leave slip for the Sakura festival was approved! I really look forward to it.
Really, all in all, things continue to look up.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone! Technically, yeah, a day late, but whatever. I still haven't slept (go go crazy ass work schedule, I'm still on shift for another two hours), so it's still Saturday.
