being 21 is great
So it's been a while... school and work and stuff was crazy! But now that school is out for the summer I have mucho time to sit back and relax (and update lol) This semester was crazy and I am sooo glad that it is over and that I was able to make Dean's list... wicked proud about that. Stupid me though... usually people choose an elective to get the "easy A" oops I keep picking the wrong one. Both semesters this year I got the lowest grade in my elective. I guess since I am gettin good grades in the courses for my major is good though... I def want to be a teacher and apparently am doing a damn good job so far!! Won't have another class at damn St. Joes until January woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Student teaching in the fall really excited about it! I am spending the day Wed with my 1st cooperating teacher. It is a pre-k special ed room... should be interesting! And then I am spending the day Thursday with my 2nd cooperating teacher. She is teaching 4th grade this year but next year we will be doing 3rd grade together. Very excited to work with her... she seems great! She said we would go shopping and do lunch and stuff and seemed laid back like me. I think we'll work well together!
And can I say that this past week was great. Too bad today sucked and ruined the goodness. But we are gonna try to ignore today and remember the good times! Obviously being done with school made the week great to top it off but then it was fun times too. Got a pedicure.... sooooo relaxing!! Went to see Davey play ball very fun! I wish I played still... oh well. Went on a crazy drive around town and to Walmart with the girls! Partied up in Torrington with some awesome Hoes! Ate at Denny's... mmmmmgood! Went to Jen and Lisa's party... fun times! And then last nite after work Danielle and I went to Harbor Park to see Darik and the Funbags because they are awesome!! Met up with some friends there and then met some pretty cool people... esp Scuba Steve and Kevin Harrison and "Craig." Definitely liked that place and am gonna go again this summer!
Worked sucked today because of some bullshit... but I had several visitors which is always great! Layed down the other day and wrote down a bunch of goals for myself for the summer and some long term goals as well. Gonna possibly be able to cross off three of my summer goals tomorrow! yay!
