Why I like St. Thomas Aquinas
Aquinas was a christian, which is most important. he believed jesus died for our sins and i think that is really important. if you look at anyone who is important threwout history you will see that they were CHRISTIAN people not muslim people or arabic people. GOD blesses those who believe in jesus not those who believe in allah or budha.
that being said aquinas taught us what to believe. he proved god existed, which is a very easy thing to do because it is true. but he did it with style which most of you know nothing about. he said things are moving and that things have to be moved by something already moving. PHEW that was a lot, wasnt it? well he said that the first mover, the mover that wasnt moved by anything is GOD. Very true, tommy old boy.
also aquinas believed that masturbation was A MORTAL SIN. i think all of you miss that one. you may say 'oh well you do it' and i would be a liar (and a sinner!!) if i told you i didnt do that. but you understand that i KNOW ITS A SIN. I try hard not to do it when i can. do not get me wrong, i feel like i am worse than hitler when i sinfully spill my seed, and afterwards i immediately go to confession because I KNOW ITS WRONG. paul said it's better to get married than to not get married and go to hell. but its better to be chaste. my point is that if you masturbating and then you were killed by a terrorist like a plane crashing into your house or something you would BURN IN HELL FOREVER. its terrible. its like people who get in shoots with cops. when they die they go to hell for sinning. it's the same for people who masturbate.
Also Aquinas said that believing in christianity takes reason, and then faith. he means to say that you have to be very smart to appreciate the bible, and i agree because i appreciate the bible. ive always known god existed and the holy bible was true, but st. thomas aquinas helped me understand it better.
and thats why i get so angry is that all these people are bad christians, they are GOING TO HELL. they need to shut up and go to church.
