That is the new music Myspace page of my friend's Angela and Donal. Angela is an American girl and Donal is an Irishman, they met while Angela was vacationing in Galway Ireland, discovered a soulmate chemistry and got happily married! Mishey and I were invited to attend the wedding in Ireland and we happily obliged. Ireland is awesome! We stopped in Dublin, checked out the rowdiness there were so many great musicians and writers are from! (U2, JJ72, Oscar Wilde and James Joyce-Who Angela is a distant cousin of!), drank pints of local brewed Guinness(The brewery that supplies pints to all the world has a 9000 year lease on the land!), listened to local Dubliners! And, checked out the Dublin's writers museum for a crash course in famous Irish writers! Later we hired a car and I drove cross-country(Scary as hell with the steering wheel and lanes on the left side!) to Galway, there we were greeted with a laid back seaside atmosphere(Think Malibu with all the cliffs and waves, but with more rocks and castles! Yes, fucking castles!), we ate the freshest, most tasty food! Drank at local pub after local pub hanging with the locals and the wedding party! The high point was the actual wedding! It was in a tiny chapel and was so freaking Gaelic that they prayed the Lord's Prayer in Gaelic! Seems that all things English are a bit on the unpopular side in the Southside of Ireland, all the traffic signs are in Gaelic first, English second. The po-po are referred to as the Prada in Ireland and don't carry guns. But, I digress. The wedding was awesome! The wedding guests tore it up! There was a traditional Irish folk band playing some jamming Riverdance tunes! Spinning Dervish dancing! Pints and pints! It ended at 9:30AM the next day, take note, the Irish know how to party.

I met Angela in 2001 when she was singing and playing keyboards with local San Diego band, Starcrossed. I was transfixed by her angelic voice, calm demeanor and the fact that she actually likes me! Not, the I want to get something from you like, or the I like you cause you're friends with someone I like, but she actually sees something in me and found it appealing-It's a damn shame more people don't, but they suck haha. Last year she bestowed her Alesis keyboard to me because her ex-husband gave it to her and she didn't feel comfortable selling it and would rather give it to someone worthy! At first I was reluctant to accept the awesome gift, but had a change of heart bearing in mind that I shall give it the protection on par with the Knights of Templar guarding the Holy Grail. Do something great with it I shall, it currently sits in a place of honor in my recording studio.

I met Donal through Angela of course in San Diego at a Irish pub (Evidently, in Ireland they are referred to as just "pubs".), at first he came off a bit defensive when I was asking some honest questions about Ireland and he quipped some Irish stereotypes, "Hey mang, I fee ya! I've had to deal with stereotypes my whole life as well, tain't easy being Asian in 'Merica!", anywhoo, he turned out to be a swell bloke and I picture him and Angela going about their business when I think about what happiness is.

And, they are frickin' talented as heck! Sweet bonus!

If you love Angela's voice, you MUST check out her vocals and lyrics in the Starcrossed song, "Solar" at the above link, oh man! I get inspirational chills from it and play the 5 minute song on repeat! You can hear her Alesis keyboard for yourself as well. :)
