this make me smile.
So, because it is Christmas time, my grandmother is even more insane than usual. Okay, technically, she isn't insane, she's just old and senile. (But really, a lot of her communication problems have existed her entire life, and have just worsened over time.)
With Christmas coming, grandma is very worried about a great lot of things about which she ought not to worry. She almost gave herself a stroke yesterday because she couldn't find her stamps. She doesn't listen to mom when mom tells her things, despite the fact that mom, as she says, is a very good care giver and is quite good at managing things. Grandma, if mom is such a great manager of your things, then WHY DON'T YOU TRUST HER TO MANAGE THEM?
*cough*
Also, this morning she said that Whisper is very beautiful and, therefore, purebred. Whisper is a spotted tabby. Spotted tabbies are far from purebred. Beautiful she may be, but purebred she is not. Grandma's insistence that Whisper is purebred after mom and I corrected her several times may not be a crime, but it's a bit difficult to live with someone who says things that are completely WRONG all of them time. It's even worse that she'll never listen to what we say.
I feel really sorry for mom. She has to interact with grandma the most.
In other news, I went to bed at 11:30 last night, woke up at 6, and couldn't sleep.
