Hi Pete,

Thanks for your curiosity. These are some tough questions to answer,
but I'll give them a try.

> what is this all about?

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court
for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a
maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground, where they
encountered my father, crossing the street at a crosswalk.

They ignored him.

Five years later, I was born.

Subsequently, I spent five years writing a novel called 1OCT1993.

> who are you and what is the idea behind the book

I'm not really Stanley Lieber. A lot of the characters in the book are
from a comic series I made with my cousin when we were in grade
school. A few years ago I started doing new ACTRON strips. You can
find most of them at massivefictions.com.

> what is massive fiction and how does it relate to the green?

MASSIVE FICTIONS is the name of my publishing company. It's also the
name of a publishing company setup by Pennis Mold in the novel.
Eventually, the company employs another of the characters, Rimbaud,
and finally goes out of business, owing to the shrinking demand for
prose/graphic fiction in the late 22nd century.

Fortunately, the world had already ended in 1993, so few jobs were
affected by the company's failure. (Rimbaud's being one notable
exception.)

> i also have looked at text adventure #1 and i found it interesting

The first seven issues of TEXT ADVENTURE form a sequel, of sorts, to
1OCT1993. Starting with issue #8, I've begun a new novel (currently
untitled).

Faire la perruque, whatevs.

Thanks for writing. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to run this
exchange as an interview on a couple of my websites. If you would
rather not be credited that is understandable.
