Thank you. I am sort of embarrassed that it has been more than a month. I have been very busy reading New Universe titles.

I have actually been enjoying the Warren Ellis revamp, but in this case I'm referring to the originals. I have most of them! DP7 #1 gave me nightmares though.

some of your stories have a sort of horror element that actually scares me and i just realized what it was, bureaucracy. awesome as usual.

It's probably obvious that I am enamored with the theme of children usurping authority. This is why they didn't let me finish high school.

Finally, this was exactly what I needed to read yesterday!

(It is getting messier to reply, something is wrong with the code on LJ I suppose.)

The page wouldn't update directly after the loading bar finished loading. So I had to click update and then, eventually, comment again. But it seems to be fixed now...

It's true. I think the difference (such as it is) in capitalist countries is that a poor person, if they are willing to be enough of an asshole and are willing to fuck over enough people, can move vertically in the class structure. In societies with less protections for personal property there are fewer opportunities for those born into humble circumstances to improve their station -- they can be as much of an asshole as they want but at the end of the day they'll still be where they started.

The best kind of agent is double agent. An even better agent is not an agent at all, or doesn't know he is one. (I wonder where all these monthly checks for me are coming from.) That part reminds me of Naked Lunch. America is ancient.

The more I read the more all stories resemble patchwork. I've come to fetishise plagiarism.

Does the fiction tab lead to all installments of this text. I feel I need to get a better grip on the story.

Yes, my slfiction tag has all installments of this story posted in order.

(p.s., I am peripherally aware of, but have not actually read any Burroughs.)

I meant me as the plagarist.

Actually prefer the movie to the book, Naked Lunch. Don't find that to be the case usually.

Curious what you have read. Can you name a few favorite authors?
