I've figured out how to complete
The Abandonment Of Cruelty, but it involves retrofitting the whole thing into fiction and putting a visor on myself.
Or, well, Tommy.
A surprising amount of my original 2003 script remains relevant. New facets lend themselves well to the material -- Isaac Newton and the Yellow Pages as canon, e-mail dada and dead tree turf wars. As
silenceinspades pointed out, fiction would probably be more honest.
I'm ten pages into this. I don't know how long it will take to complete, but the work is going fast.
Certainly by next year's
S.P.A.C.E. it should be good to go.
