In which space isn't actually the problem.
space i need space jonghyun hisses from behind his locked door
dude, if you want space, go rent a fucking room in the motel
downtown. this is our room open up i have to get my stuff out
key retorts, banging hard on the door. jjong gets up off the
bed and walks sloth-mode towards the door. he doesn't open it
or reply key. he just stands in front of the wooden panel and
contemplates on opening it. what exactly do you have to get
huh jonghyun asks, arms folded. look, just open the damn door
if you're standing there already, it's not like i'm going to
stay for long or anything.
(well, maybe that's why i'm not going
to open it jonghyun thinks to himself.)
key's foot taps impatiently on the parquet floor outside the
door, wondering what in the world was wrong with this boy
because honestly the space they had had never been a problem,
at least not a huge one within the members. and besides,
shouldn't he be thankful that there were only two of them in
one room since minho, taemin and onew hyung were sharing the
other one. seriously, someone needed to slap sense into him
before he got too complacent. key snaps back to reality and
yells again. kim jong hy -
the door is flung wide open. may i remind you that
i am older than you kim ki bum? jonghyun states flatly.
yes i know that and i would apologise if only you hadn't left
me locked out of this room for the past twenty minutes key replies,
equally flatly as he saunters into the room, leaving jonghyun
at the door frame in his over huge tee and slacks. instead of
'grabbing and going' key settles himself comfortably on jonghyun's
bed, smiling smugly.
what happened to 'i'm not going to stay for long or anything'?
jonghyun asks. key shrugs and tugs on the blanket, patting the
space beside him on the bed. you take it or you leave it jonghyun-hyung,
stressing the hyung because key was a diva like that. jonghyun
rolls his eyes and climbs back into bed with his arms still folded.
key grabs a book off the bedside table and begins to read aloud
while jonghyun grins inwardly.
space i said i needed space.
but i guess i could settle for this much.
just trying something out.
