There are lots of pictures of Stanford up from the new episode of Nikita that's airing on 1/27/11. I'm really so I'm just going to link you to nikita_tv. You can see them here.

The synopsis is: 1x12: Free Now an agent, Alex gets a new apartment and is given a cover job. She meets her new neighbor Nathan (guest star Thad Luckenbill) who invites her to a ( Read more... )

Stalking as usual, so in case I haven't said hi yet, hi! As for Birkhoff's possible gun training, I'm saying yes, but probably not a lot. In one episode (the one with the recruit who got sent on a suicide mission, then rescued by Nikita), he shows up to lecture Michael about how he's trying to keep Division "paperless" and then very casually picks up, loads, and empties the chamber in a clean little target area. So I'm going to say he knows how to use a gun, but if it comes down to it, he probably 1) doesn't like to, 2) doesn't know what to do in a real situation, and/or 3) got that training via pirated copies of Halo.

I forgot about that... Oh Birkhoff.

I feel like if you mix up Rugged Rudgate, Pyro, and Will Traveler, you get Id, Ego, and SuperEgo, for Birkhoff somehow.. Or maybe I'm thinking about this way too hard.

Assuming that order isn't fixed, I'll go with the following:
Id: Pyro (bitchy little brat who does whatever the hell he feels like doing)
Ego: Rugged (generally a decent guy. A little...off, sure, but still, not a total sociopath.)
Superego: Traveler (it works somehow. I think. Maybe.)

Though really. Tell me this whole "frequently kidnapped by the forbidden hot chick" thing probably isn't Birkhoff's dream of how to spend a Saturday night. Maybe Division's got a good dental plan so he doesn't mind so much, because hey. A date's a date.

Not fixed.. I was thinking about it and most of Stanford's characters are the Id or the Ego types.. And the ones who aren't usually end up killing people.

New challenge, Stanford: Play a tax accountant who falls in love with a manic pixie dream girl and be shocked, shocked, shocked at her deviant behavior.

Also, Birkhoff actually kind of intrigues me. I'm still a little unclear on his relationship with Nikita.. And where he fits into all of this.. The show has done a good job of making us feel compassion for a few characters and only showing them to us briefly.. Like the guy Bug Hall played, and Owen, and Amanda.. Who no one feels compassion for, exactly, but you know.. Still..

I wouldn't be shocked if Birkhoff snuck out and pretended he got kidnapped sometimes.

Which begs the question.. How does one go about duct taping ones self to a springy horse?
