(no subject)
According to a gigantic web of googling that led me to a wholesale rental video guide, The Cake Eaters will be released on DVD on April 1, 2009 by Screen Media Films.
Meanwhile, I have no idea what's going on with the theatrical release (assuming there is one) since 57th & Irving hasn't updated their page in three months and have a broken link on the info for The Cake Eaters.
Also because TheCakeEaters.com has yet to be updated. And there is no Facebook or Myspace page (though apparently there are a lot of groups on Facebook called "Cake Eaters" but are actually about The Mighty Ducks which is so far beyond awesome that it has circled the planet and come back to mundane).
There are a few snippets of clips of the film in the reel for Vinyl Foote, the (production?) company owned and operated by Jayce (writer/co-star of The Cake Eaters) and Tiffany Bartok (actress/director/producer/make up artist/super hot wife).
If anyone finds any info on the theatrical release, let me know.
