[Sokka really shouldn't be in town. After the fight he fought the day before, Sokka is physically and mentally drained. Thank goodness his sister is superbly proficient with healing, or Sokka would be in bed right now. He find himself compelled to check on the smithy, even if he's not sure he'll be doing any work today. Imagine his surprise when he spots a familiar face not too far away.]

[With so many people from their world having been sent home recently, he almost didn't expect to see her again. So he actually brightens up and rushes over.] Ty Lee! You're back!

[ Ty Lee spots him before he sees her, and frantically tries to smooth out her hair and look at least a little bit presentable. It doesn't do her much good. ]

Hey, Sokka. [ She smiles up at him. She still hasn't really worked out the whole leaving thing in the first place. ] I guess I am.

[Her appearance doesn't really matter much to him. He never thought he'd be happy to see her, but she's managed to firmly entrench herself into the circle of friends Sokka considers important. And after yesterday...

He just goes ahead and gives her a nice manly hug.]

Uh- [ She can't say she doesn't enjoy it, even if she's a little too sore for such manly hugging. ] It is nice to see you too.

[He realizes quickly enough how silly this is and leans back, sitting on the ground in front of her.]

How long has it been, anyway?

[ Her fingers work at the back of her neck while she speaks. Ty Lee's not sure if it's been a very long time or a very short one. ]

[This part is always awkward, because people are always surprised. But Sokka is only able to give a rough estimate. Her kidnapping wasn't on the journal, so he only can go off when he noticed she was missing.]

I think it was about a month.

Wow. [ Where was she for a whole month? ] Sorry about that.

Uh, not like you could do anything about it, right? [Although he has to wonder now...] Uh. How do you feel? People usually have some weird side effects after being kidnapped.

Not that great. [ She's not sure about any side effects, but she feels like she's taken a beating. ] But I'm sure I'll be back to normal soon.

Well, we can probably find someone to fix that. [His immediate thought is his sister. He's kind of completely forgotten that things between Ty Lee and Katara aren't exactly great.]

Okay. [ What she could really go for is a massage right about now. ] Did I miss anything important while I was... [ She's not sure what's a good word for it. On vacation? ] while I was gone?

Uh, well. [He has to think back to what happened.]

Well uh. There was a bunch of mushi in the village. Weird spiritual thingies that got into people. But they're gone now.
