I remember it well. You passed right by the hospital where both mom and dad spent plenty of time, thus so did I.
And Silver Lake. In my high school days, Silver Lake High School touted one of the best hurdlers in the state. Thus he and I were rivals in track for that reason. The only thing, his strategy was to flail his arms so much when going over the hurdles that he would smack the guys next to him in the chest and face. The strategy tended to work. Doh!
