(no subject)
Hey!
Had my last day at the bank today.. it was a really good summer job, but in the end I'm glad that it's done. School's going to be really interesting this year, and I can't wait to get into the thick of things. I really don't know *why* I'm so excited.. it'll be a lot of hard work, and even more long hours.. I guess I'm just happy to have a bit more direction in my life, and to have a definite target that I can aim for (namely kicking ass in my classes).
I was going to write a bit of an overview of the job, but I'm kinda tired of thinking about that. Instead I'll just say that I learned a lot, and it was a great opportunity. I'm glad I pursued it as a choice of employment, and I'll likely work there again next year (unless something fantastic comes up). It got a little dull towards the end, but the people were really good (as was the money) so it's hard to complain much, ya know?
Also I'm writing this on my brand-spankin new laptop. I did my research and found a pretty killer model from Toshiba, and picked it up just last week. It's real purty :) It was kinda funny, 2 days after I got the computer I received a package in the mail from the school of business, advising that I invest in a wireless enabled laptop. So uh yeah, I'm good I guess. woo.
k time to go for dinner w/Colette then party it up on Whyte. I haven't rocked out in waaaay too long, time to change that situation.
