Work was good. I was pretty nervous (and shaky due to excessive caffiene), but it went pretty well I believe. Intreresting group of people, and it will certainly be a challenging job. Much more mentally involved than anything I've done before, so that will be exciting. Is exciting the word? eh, whateva. I'm freakin tired, couldn't sleep last night ( Read more... )

Taylor dood,
It's Suz from FortMcMurray library - I am so bored. We're in the reclamation study at Syncrude = it's totally crazy. like across the pit where they've completely excavated like many km^2 of oil sand is like this tiny little 2 year old "reclaimed" area, with foot tall spruce trees, and on the other side is like are HUGE HUGE HUGE blocks of sulpher. They're cool - tommorow i am sneaking my camera in for some pictures. Safety training is SO gay - we watch videos and they're like 'if this happens make sure you go to this medical tent" and then we write little gay surveys like "yes or no, you know where the medical offices are" and the instructor is like "okay now I need a lot of "yes's" from you all" and i'm like "Dood, i have NO idea where the medical office is" so then they point and are like "you know where you came in, yea you passed it" and i'm like "what-ever" and they're like "shyahhh!" My group here is having some group dynamic problems, aka this guy steve trying to be the boss of everyone and this girl sandy being like 'oh man my stomach is making noises!!! oh i feel soooooooooooo sick, its like rumbling" its like HELLO! FREAK! I'm glad i'm not up here for the 5 weeks that they all are. HOW IS BANK WORK?

HI PAUL AND GABE and everyone else who reads this damn journal, i'll be back friday and expecting to GET DRUNK. Goddamn uofa drivers can't evern drink.
