I found a new fic that i absolutely adore -" Harry Potter and the Eye of the Storm" by Jane99 at Portkey.org. the pairing is Harry/Hermione, but the buildup of the romantic relationship between them is slow. There are 23+ Chapters as of now but there still isn't any inkling of romance as of yet though there is definitely a closeness. According to the author , this is coz she sees their relationship as building slowly(atleast i think thats what she said in her author notes). I absolutely agree with that. Even though i have started liking this pair, i don't believe at all that the books have implied their pairing. Also the clincher here is that the Hermione here is not the totally-absorbed-in-Harry kinds that i find in many Harry/Hermione fics.
