Peace Monuments
I stumbled upon a really interesting article which showcases peace monuments. Most I'd never even heard of before. It's actually very uplifting. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial in Japan stood out to me. With all the carnage and suffering bestowed upon that city (and Nagasaki) you wouldn't think it would be easy to put up a monument for peace. And yet, there it is. It's actually quite beautiful.
