internship news!!!
YAY!! I GOT IT!!
Okay. whew.
Full story:
When I woke up this morning, I had a feeling that he (executive producer) would call during my 10:00 class. He called last week at that time, and he sent me an email saying we would talk soon.
So I go to work 8-9:30 as usual, and then head to class.
The class was canceled. (A sign?)
And then a fellow editor called me to see if i could come into the office, because some reporters were needing a news ed.
I said, sure, my class was canceled. :)
I had not been in the office ten minutes, when i saw his name on my cell.
(Dear baby Jesus, Oh Dear God ensued)
I put on my *it will be okay if i don't get it* voice...
BUT HE SAID I NEEDED TO MAKE PLANS TO COME DOWN!!!
I will start May 22!
So, I will start driving May 19, the day after spring classes end.
EEEKK!!!
It's perfect.
Mamaw will be covering my room and board expenses, but I'm going to try to work a few hours a week at Publix or Walgreen's.
