dear finance minor:
we are through. over. I hate you, and I hate your stocks, covariances, returns. I hate your stupid professors who NEVER speak english. I hate the fact that you bring craig renn into my class, and that he is still so much smarter than I will ever be...and oh so very smug. I will not compute the correlation and variance of 10 ridiculous stocks over the last decade. I will not check StockTrak, to see how the stocks for my group project are performing (the only stock I picked was losing money anyways...my group hates me).
I'll see you tomorrow at 9 am. And I don't care if I fail this STUPID exam. I'm an accounting major by God, and whoever thought that finance and accounting were similar (me 2 years ago) was an IDIOT. I will never play the stock market. I will never look at the ticker at the top of web browsers or news stations. I will watch CNN stock shows only for the pure entertainment value of watching Jim Cramer flip out.
on a happier note:
I downloaded some John Mayer Trio the other day, more enjoyable than I expected, and this one line was quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
you're not the perfect hand, but I don't hit on 19
clear reference to black jack in case you were confused. And I decided that is exactly how I hope someone will feel about me someday. Because it's honest, and it's realistic. And it's sweet in a strange 'you drive me crazy but I love you' way. I like it A LOT.
a lot more than finance.
