it's rush rush rush time
I can hear people laughing down the hall from me. and I can walk down there if I want. not that I will, but just that I can.
and if I want to be angry, or sad, or frustrated....they get it. and they'll leave me alone for awhile, and they'll care.
and I like it here. right where I'm at.
and who the hell said I ever had to know where I'm going. or look back all the time at where I've been.
so here's to staying in with your sisters. here's to understanding balance sheets, and income statements. here's to realizing that econ is not what I'll be doing with the rest of my life, just a class I have to suffer through. here's to old friends. here's to people finding the greatest love of their life. here's to spooning with my pillow instead of some guy I never really cared about in the first place. here's to drinking hot tea, here's to rush, here's to flirting and leaving.
I take back everything I said about it not being fair that those two crazy kids got together. because I love them. and I love their loving eachother. and seeing two people that right for each other finally getting together makes you feel like it is real.
and maybe it's only a matter of time.....a long time.
