1. Name: Dana
2. Age: 16
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? It would be either New York City or London. I love NYC and London because they both have such wonderful fine arts programs, they are so diverse, and they are both full of history.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? It would be furnished in a style I find pleasing, but that is not the important thing. It would have some sort of device that would answer any question I have. I am very inquisitive. There would also be a stage. I act, sing, dance, play the flute, piano, and guitar, so performing is a big part of my life. I don't even really need an audience as long as I can perform.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Wormtail is my least favorite character. I am very loyal and believe firmly in honesty, and Wormtail was neither loyal or honest. I have a hard time sympathizing with him. He betrayed one of his best friends, and then staged his own death and made it seem like his other best friend killed him, and betrayed the Potters. Wormtail was scum.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? It is both.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
The most potent muse of all is our own inner child. -St
ephen Nachmanovitch I try to let my inner child shine through in everything I do. I try not to see anything as impossible. I try to look at everything and believe that it could be possible until I find a way to prove that it isn't. I also try to be free of inhibitions as a child is. It would be foolish to be embarrassed about being myself.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? My friends are my family, and my family are my friends. They are the same thing to me, so one can not come before the other. I love both my family and my friends very much, and would do almost anything for them.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? My second trip to England would probably be my favorite childhood memory. England is my favorite country, and I love history. I learned so much, and I found everything absolutely fascinating. That trip also caused me to find out that I enjoyed photography.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? I am extremely outspoken. I will say exactly what I think without censoring myself. I don't try to make things rude, but I am not going to sugar coat anything that comes out of my mouth. I do not intend to hurt anyone with what I say(well, most of the time) but sometimes people take offence anyway. I should probably learn to monitor what comes out of my mouth.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? I believe that I would have joined the D.A. I am not a particularly recalcitrant person, but I would need to rebel against someone like Umbridge. Also, I do not trust the government so I probably would have believed that Voldemort was back, and that the Ministry was just being stupid.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I can handle most stressful situations except for when some one I care about is seriously ill, hurt, or if they are dead or dying. In those situations, I have anxiety attacks. But if it isn't serious, I usually try to find humor in the situation. Yet, I try to put humor into everything I do,not just things involving stressful situations. I am rather fond of making sarcastic comments and talking about wild and crazy ideas I have.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? It really depends on the situation. For most court cases I would say I value justice more, but then there are certain times where I sympathize with the defendent so... I really don't have an answer.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I am definitly a child at heart. I would consider myself a very creative and dramatic person, and I am not embarrased about being me.I may be eccentric, but that is who I am, and I don't see any reason to stifle my personality. Also, I seem to have an endless supply of energy.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? I think I would probably be sorted in to Ravenclaw. I believe I am intelligent and I really enjoy learning in general. Also, every sorting test I have taken has said that I am a Ravenclaw. I don't think I belong in any of the of the other houses. I'm not brave in the traditional sense of the word. I'm just extremely stubborn and won't back down from my statements and beliefs. Although I can be cunning, I don't think I am manipulative enough to be in Slytherin. Also, I'm just not a Hufflepuff.
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun! I do not have any recent pictures of myself on the computer, and I would not feel comfortable sharing them if I did.
