1. Name: Kara aka Pimtastica Dynamite.

2. Age: 30

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? Somewhere secluded and beach-y, think: Maui, Maldives, Aruba. A gorgeous beach house with lots of marble and teak, open porches and huge pool with a hot pool boy (or two) would be brilliant.

Then again, hurricanes and tidal waves favor those sorts of places and I’m not fond on Mother Nature when she’s gotten her knickers in a twist. I like to be safe. I may just want to research this more and get back to you.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? An apartment in the city… it would be dark and opulent with very high ceilings and have a view of a park or body of water. Rich dark hard woods, thick velour drapes, tons of books. A huge screen to watch movies on and a giant leather couch with a bunch of pillows and throws. Candles, lots of candles. A really big bath. Hmmm. I like big comfy and expensive things. And I could go there when ever I needed a day away from all the stupid people.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? I don’t like Tonks anymore. WTF was up with her in HBP, was she really that much of a wreck over Lupin after so little time? She needs to sort out her priorities… especially since she brought that bullshit up while the Weasleys were stressing out over Bill. I’m self-centered, but even I would have known that it wasn’t the time. I’m actually hoping those nutty theorists are right and someone was polyjuicing as her…

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Look, let’s be real: No one is going to fill a glass half-way unless they haven’t got a choice or don’t want what they are pouring. So if you see a glass at the half-way point, it’s going to be ½ empty 99% of the time. Plus I’ve always said half-empty. I don’t think half-full occurred to me until someone posed the question.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. “If you marry for money, you will earn every penny of it.”
-Dr. Phil ( <-who I happen to hate, but makes a very good point here) Not because I married for money, but to remind me that sometimes practical decisions aren't always the best ones.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Neither. I’m not particularly fond of my family, and my ‘friends’ aren’t likely to put me before their families because they are blinded by expectations. Faced with being forced to choose, it would be family.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? I remember a snow storm when I was really little. My father took me out in the yard and we made a really big snowman. I came back inside and put on my favorite pink jammies and had hot cocoa with marshmallows. He used to work a lot when I was little so memories with him are pretty rare from that time. Probably second favorite would be all the times I interviewed my friends on my tape recorder. I annoyed the hell out of them and now have hours of blackmail should they ever become famous. Hahah!

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? My inability to talk about my feelings. I’m sure they would be held against me, or be grounds for commitment. ;) Internally, I’m pretty judgmental. I know that I’m fickle too, so I don’t say what I’m really thinking very often but when I do feelings invariably get hurt. Later I change my mind and then I’ve got to do damage control, which is no fun. However, I’m not very good at lying to make people feel better. I’m more likely to change the subject to avoid answering at all.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Yeah, but not like I’d have searched them out or something. More likely that my friends all joined and I’d have to see what the Potter kid was up to now. Also it’s good to check up on his skill level, I’d like to know if he’s got a shot in hell of defeating Voldemort. I don’t care much for authority, but I’m not big on being caught doing something wrong either. I probably would have hesitated before signing that form, but I NEVER would have told on them.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. Avoid! AVOID THEM. I don’t get stressed out because if the heat is too hot, it’s time to leave the kitchen. I’d really rather not deal. If it’s unavoidable, I’m actually pretty calm. People will come to me to sort things out. I solve problems and mediate well when necessary. I tend to be the one who holds everyone else together, calls the proper authorities, etc. I don’t panic.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Who is defining justice? Because while I value it more, I have seen some warped shit done in the name of ‘justice’. This sort of question causes me moral distress, because I always know what answer is the right answer even when it’s a test that is supposed have ‘no right answers’. That isn’t saying it would be the answer I would choose in practical application but I usually tell people what I need them to hear.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Child at heart. Even though I seem to find myself in the position of authority and really do like to boss people around - I’m kind of fickle and would much rather play than work. I just don’t trust many other people to do things properly. If I do trust you, well that’s probably bad because I’ll let you do more than your fair share while I play.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?I think it would really have a time with me to be honest. H_E said Gryffindor but I got quite a few Slytherin votes. I’m a bit mercurial, and I adapt well to fit individual situations. I know I’m a self-preservationist, but I’m going to help you if I think I can. I think I’m leaning a bit more Slytherin these days but at eleven? I was probably a Gryffindor.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun! No way, I look a bit like one character, not going to let that sway you.
