1. Name: Kitty.

2. Age: I'm 19, but I'm old for my age. *snort*

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I hate questions like this, because I honestly don't know if I could stay away from home and my own little corner (I'm terribly bad with change). However, because it wouldn't be too drastic of a change (minus the lack of our president) I'd probably move to Ontario to live with my best friend, because Canada is really quite awesome.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? Coffee bar in the corner. Dishes of chocolates on a table, three or four bookshelves, an outlet to plug in my laptop, and a TV and PS2. Yes, I am a geek, but it'd last me forever.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Ouch. Er. Hard for me to say I hate anyone, really, I try to find redeeming character aspects and make slightly insane theories about why characters may be acting strangely. Harry's sort of a moron so I guess I'll choose him. I never quite understood how we're supposed to take him seriously when he honestly is just an impulsive little brat sometimes. He's a good character - real, we all probably know people like this - but when it comes to having a main character and plot, god, he's kind of annoying to watch. It's like watching I Love Lucy and you just know she's going to foul it up somehow. He's an unreliable narrator, too. ... But I don't really dislike him as a character, just his traits.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? I'm more concerned with what the glass is filled with, but probably half-full. In no other situation do you measure the emptiness of something, come on.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. "I used to be disgusted/now I try to be amused." First line from "The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes" by Elvis Costello. This was my high school senior quote, because this basically explains how my life went. I went through teenage angst, hating the world and everyone in it, and I came out of the whole experience, despite problems that still went and go on, as this sort of bemused, chatty people-watcher. It's hard to look at everything this way, but generally I'm just having fun now.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Ouch. Er. My family is a tough thing to deal with, sometimes. My sister is my exact opposite, my mother is going to work herself into a diabetic coma, and my father's just sort of useless. I fit in as the voice of reason, which is difficult. My friends are a different matter entirely, my real friends anyway, the ones I've known online for ages. I can honestly say that family will come first, but only because getting in trouble with people who are at the very least hundreds of miles away is easier than people who I live with.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? This was hard to pick since I appear to have a memory for the bad. Probably when I was in kindergarten and we dressed up for certain days, and for Career Day I was a postal worker.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? Oh, this one's hard, too. They're sort of tied together, so... all right, I'm a very truthful person. I didn't say honest - I'll lie to strangers and if I'm going to look bad - but when it comes down to important things and people I care about, I'm completely, bluntly honest to a fault. Likewise, I expect people to do the same, so I trust people as soon as they've wormed themselves into my regular life, and I continue to trust them at every venture and hope they'd trust me. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case and I get hurt a lot by people.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Yes. I'm a political activist and Umbridge would've pissed me off. However, I bet I'd probably be on Zacharias's side at that first meeting.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. Not very well. I scramble and try to fix everything that I have to and swear and fall all over myself and cry. It's really not a pretty scene.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Can't pick one. Justice requires compassion. To want to make things right and fair, you have to empathize with the people who aren't getting that treatment, don't you?

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Middle-aged. I'm old for my age, like I said - I can barely get along with people my age, but put me with a middle-aged intellectual and I'm comfortable. I have the teenage angst, like I said, and am occasionally impulsive, but deep down I'm really kind of a prude and take things seriously.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? Sadly, I've put thought into this. Slytherin or Ravenclaw, probably - I have a lot of ambitions and I will do just about anything to get what I want, but I'm waaay too into academia and education and various things. I'm insanely curious and obsessive. If I was at Hogwarts (ugh, never typing that again, what a geek) I'd probably spend a few years trying to get into the Restricted Section and getting loads of detentions attempting it. So, Ravenclaw who would probably get along with Slytherins.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!

This is not a great picture, but I have no great picture. The strange expression is only because I was trying to get a picture of my new length of hair, not really of me - I'd lopped at least four inches off, and I'm a showoff at heart.
