You were a hard one to place. I finally decided that I think you most resemble Minerva McGonagall. First of all, you have this serious air about you (if we can talk about an "air" on the internet), you seem very strict in what you believe in and what you expect from others. You also value knowledge and learning as Minerva obviously does. On the other hand I always found Minerva to have a very human side as well - especially your answer to question 13 - reminded me of that. Minerva tries to be just but then she always takes special circumstances into account - in the positive as well as the negative sense. She tries to be fair (and mostly is) but there are times where her own feelings cloud her judgment or where she consciously decides that compassion in a certain case will be more beneficial than pure justice. For that combination that I see in you (not only in this application but also from what I know about you from reading your journal) I think she'd fit you best.

That's actually very good. ^.^ I'm this angry 80 year old woman in an 18 year old body. Yesterday at my grandma's birthday party, I was snipping about how one of my cousins (who I've hated since I first laid eyes on her) looked like Jenna Jameson. I really didn't approve. Then again, I'd rather have her fall into an open sewer than be at the party. Heehee.

I'm seconding that vote, though I was tempted to say Phineas Nigellus. Hehe. I actually read this over like five times trying to figure out who I thought you were...

<.< I'm actually very fond of children. I just don't care for tweens or teens cos a) I don't know how to talk to them and b) too many are rude or self-absorbed. Ah wait, that is Phineas. Well, I adore Dumbledore and aspire to be more upbeat. I don't mean to be a cranky old codger. ^.^

Ooh, this one was hard. I'm going with McGoogles, too, even though the lazy tendencies and bit of a wild streak don't seem to fit her (although, who knows?), but #14 steered me towards McGonagall.

Hello, fellow Manhattanite!
I think you definitely sound like her, because of your love for learning, with a grave sense to you, in that you prefer seriousness to whimsicality. And you had a teddy bear for a prom date. Plus the compassion/justice question seemed like a McGonagall answer. I feel like, while she does have a tendency to punish Harry, she knows when there should be exceptions.
And dude, you mentioned the Greeks in 15. You deserve a cookie!

I'm actually in Yonkers, but hooray and hullo! ^_^ *waves*
I like learning stuff I'm interested in. School and I never got along. Whimsical is okay as long as you know where your feet are on the ground. It's also like with pranks. If you're going to break the rules, know what they are and know the loopholes.
Thank you! I learned more in my Culture and Society in the West class this semester than I did in almost all of high school.

Really? How so? (Best way I can think of how I'm look McGoogles in a bad situation is I suck up the tears and stick out my jaw until everyone else is done panicking and crying. We had a very bad situation at camp this year and I didn't let myself cry until a week later when I had to go home for college orientation. Twas a very bad week. -.-)

Yeah, I know what you mean about the school stuff. I don't know, I kind of see young McGonagall as being like that ^_^
I'm a Classics major, so it caught me by surprise to see someone else mention it XD

I reckon that though McG seems very stern and tough, she is actually much more emotional...
...the crying over James and Lily at the beginning of Sorcerer's Stone comes to mind.
