1. Name: Nicole, but sometimes I go by Blue, for my usual hair color.

2. Age: 16.

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? Well, I'd be happy to live in Vancouver, BC (in Canada..) or London because I've spent a lot of time in both places and consider them my home as much as anywhere else. Yet, I'm a wanderer. My happiness doesn't last long if I'm not discovering new places.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? Loads of sunflowers and that perfect kinda bouncy grass. It would be freeing and constantly changing. I wouldn't say it would be an escape, because I don't need a room to escape. I guessss my Room of Requirement would just be a place of contentment, with all of the simple things I love in life.

5. Who is your least  favorite Harry Potter character? I don't really have one since they're all interesting in some way.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? I just drank whatever was in the glass and refilled it.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. That couldn't be any harder. There are enough different, equally important parts of me that they can't fit into one quote. :[ So, I'm gonna make this a little more complicated and link to things that I identify with. :D
Echo : this is a book by Francesca Lia Block.
Brand New Colony by Postal Service. Not because it represents something I already feel, but something that's waiting, these possibilities, inside of me.
The Gift Horse by The Jealous Sound : "Dear Miss Understood, when you fight back does it feel good?"
And I often view life : Different by Acceptance

Arg! Hard hard hard question. :[

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Friends. My family brought me into the world and got me going, but my friends will carry me through it.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? There are two that will stay with me forever, and they both are fairly recent. I remember them vividly. Soo, let's go for stuff from my journal. :D
1. The world felt, non existent, as if we were the only ones left. The summer heat was such a thick fog, making my hair oddly damp and sweat dripped off my nose slowly. Mike, my best friend then, appeared at my roof window just as I was waking up for the day. We walked in the best kind of silence to the train tracks and climbed to sit on the bars going across under the bridge, just dangling our feet there, yards from the ground. In the distance we could see our city of dreams and nightmares hiding behind completely hazy day. It could've been five minutes later, or five hours, but it began to rain. The perfect kind of rain, rain with big drops that don't make you cold, that don't make you hot, but just bring around a connection to the world as if it's lifeblood were dripping on you, bringing you into it's veins. We didn't talk at all, until time to leave when Mike turned to me and said, "Are you ready?" and I smiled back, "For anything and everything."

2. My cousin Aeriel lived with me for two months this past winter. We're complete opposites, down to where we live, on opposite sides of the continent (East coast US and West coast CA).  It's as if were sun and moon, completely different, but essential to each other. Though I couldn't tell you who was the sun and who the moon, maybe because whenever were together we just balance perfectly. And although, at the time it wasn't so awesome, when she went home is important to me. The feeling of just what it felt to have her ripped away changed everything. I can't explain, but until she was gone I didn't realize just how important her presence was. It's a.. overwhelming.. thing to find out what and who really matters to you.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? My procrastination. I'm terribly bad at getting things done if I don't really care about them. I'm a passionate person, but only about selective things. Unless I really care about something, there isn't any promise I'll do anything about it. Also, my feelings can get a little too intense.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Yes or punch Umbridge.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. Well, if it doesn't concern me,  I'll just withdraw, but when it does I'm unstoppable. When things are difficult or stressful, I take on a realistic attitude, an observant intelligence I otherwise keep to myself, and have an intense dedication. Though if I didn't care, I'd just laugh or curse at the situation and withdraw.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Compassion, because it's possible to be just with a compassionate heart. I'm not overly compassionate, but kind to anyone that needs it. When the situation calls for it, though, I can take an objective stance and focus on what I consider is just/right.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Ageless. There isn't any reason an old soul can't keep that child important and existing.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? Gryffindor, since I'm truly loyal to those I care about. And anyways, I'm don't fight just to fight, but fight for love. And that sounds Gryffindorish more than anything else.

16. Do you care which gender you are stamped as (If yes, tell us which gender you would like to be stamped as)? No.

17. Anything else? I'm either laughing, scowling, or expressionless. And I like to discover more than anything.

18. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so!  Pictures are fun!
