Gardening
Been working in the garden this morning ... got 3 tomato plants transplanted ... moved some of the zucchini seedlings from the original hill to other spots - we'll see if they make it - be nice to have lots of zucchini this year! Got everything watered a bit, so in case it rains, hopefully the water will soak in better and not pool up so much. Also took some pix and will add a few in a bit. The Early Alaskan peas are just past my waist now ... I can't wait till they start to produce but am wondering when that will be. The cabbage is really big and finally starting to form, but something is chewing on them, even after they've been sprayed with an organic bug killer. =( Oh well, this was an experiment ... if it works, cool, if not, we'll know better for next year.
I wanted to get all this done early so I could work on mom's Mother's Day gift and some cards. Got 5 birthdays coming up, pretty much in succession, so I'd better get busy!
