Hmm. I think, more than anyone, Dino fits with what you want. Klutzy as he is prone to being...Dino is a charmer, he'd be intelligent enough to keep you interested, he'd be very good with communicating and can indeed just go with the flow whne he has to.

I feel like you're not really interested in the romance itself, you're after person that you'd get along with no matter what, a person that doesn't bore you out. You doesn't want to be restrained by the relationship, and you don't want your parter to feel so either. My first thought was Lancia, but because he just doesn't seem charming enough, so I'd go for XANXUS. This after writing up stuff about Mukuro, Byakuran and Reborn, and then scratch it out because it somehow failed. I cannot imagine him changing his gender, and while perhaps not being the most sociable person ever, he has an undeniable charisma to make even a self-centered person as Bel follow him blindly. He would't come up with stammering love confessions, but if he felt he could trust you, he would be honest with you. And you kinda seem like the kind of person that would like living in the Varia castle and boss around.
