VOTE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION BEFORE ME.
THEN VOTE ON MINE.
ESPECIALLY VOTE FOR PEOPLE ON
THIS LIST.
Thank you. :)
You
I'm redoing this because I would like to see whom else I might get for this. Not that I am not happy with my current stamping (Dino), but it just seemed to be a really common stamping because to me, everyone who's application didn't scream some other character was given him. Still working through that long list of people who need votes, so I hope no one minds another application from me! *shot*
VOTE FOR THOSE OTHER PEOPLE BEFORE YOU VOTE FOR ME.
1) Name Lupin
2) What traits do people appreciate about you?
001. How mature I am. In real life, teachers and other adults have always loved how they could depend on me and trust me to do things where other students might do
something stupid or just complain.
002. How sweet I am. People are always commenting how I am so willing to help people, and how I am so nice to everyone.
003. How I am a good listener, give good advice, and am willing to be someone to rant at or be a shoulder to cry on. My friends have always come to me for help and advice,
and I'm proud that they can trust and depend on me that much.
004. Being able to come to me for band-aids, aspirin, snacks, and school supplies too. My friends have labeled my purse and backpack as an emergency kits.
3) What do people find irritating in you?
Most people dislike my extreme levels of seriousness and pessimism that pop up here and there; I've ruined a lot of fun moments by taking them too seriously. I also take offense easily, and can be dense from time to time. I really don't like to let others help me that often, and have low self-esteem most of the time. How much time I spend on the computer and how much I fidget is harped on as well...
4) What do you do with your free time?
I am mostly on my computer reading, writing, studying something, web designing, making graphics, or spend hours on LiveJournal (like that wasn't obvious). I've also been getting onto AIM and MSN more than I used to, and been getting into some various RPGs as well. When I am off the computer, I am reading, drawing, painting, or doing chores. I've also started up power walking in the mornings, rarely watch TV and occasionally play Halo.
5) How romantic are you?
Not as romantic as other girls my age are. I'm not the type of person who will be all "mushy-gushy" or "touchy-feely", beyond holding hands or sitting closer to them than I would a normal friend, but I wouldn't forget birthdays or let them think that I didn't care for/love them. I would most likely be one of those people who would drag them somewhere and show them something like a cool bend in a creek, or a bird's nest.
I have to admit that I fantasize a lot, but doubt that any of these ideas will ever happen.
6) Are you dominate or submissive?
I like to view myself as a shadow king, someone who is dominate, but in the background most of the time, and only fully comes out when needed, because otherise, I am the perfect middle-ground-compromising-person until push comes to shove. Then someone will be going over a cliff and it won't be me, especially if it becomes clear that my opinions, beliefs, and/or needs are not being respected.
7) What sets you apart from others? How?
001. I was always running around school helping out with something, especially the librarians and the minor main office (we had two in our huge school). I think some people who
regularly saw me were all like, "There she goes again. That weird errand girl."
002. I'm really polite. People have asked me out before, and I don't think there were any hard feelings. So many people comment about this quality of mine as well, but in all
honesty, I really don't get it. Aren't most people polite?
003. I have a sense of fearlessness. Snakes and spiders? Wasps and bees? Crickets and evil teachers from beyond the grave? Bullies and buttholes? No problem. I adore snakes,
have no problem with bugs, and kill spiders like I was stepping on a sidewalk. As for the "evil" teachers, they turn out to be the coolest teachers I know, and I have stood
up to many idiots, and they backed off within minutes.
004. I am really skilled with a computer. In my classes where computers was not the subject, people flocked to me for computer help ranging from "How do you do this...?" to
cases of the Blue Screen of Death.
Ahhaha, reading those, they really aren't all that uncommon. >>;
The one
8) Any gender preferences?
Males only, please. :)
9) For a long-lasting relationship, what is important?
Friendship, or mutual respect at the least. With that as the foundation of the relationship, then comes all of the things that people usually want: someone you get along with, someone you want to spend time with and be near comfortably, someone you know who you can trust and depend on, and someone who will do the same for you. I think that it is vital to have this in a marriage or something like that because then if you do fall out of love, it won't be nasty for either of you and you can still leave each other on good terms, or if you ever don't, your bond is that much stronger.
10) What are you attracted to?
001. I like Hispanics, Asians, people with dark hair and eyes with strong noses, and redheads. Natural redheads though.
002. My favorite eye colors are brown and gray. I also tend to be attracted to a person's hands and shoulders. Not sure why.
003. Then there is no way that I cannot say that someone dressed in a suit and tie, is not attractive. Like the models in
this series of photos. I swooned over their pictures.
004. Glasses. I adore guy who wear glasses.
005. Intelligence and wit always impress me. Doesn't matter where they are intelligent or how they are witty, if they can engage me in a conversation about something or point
out something funny or ironic, I'm impressed.
006. I appreciate someone who is hard working, sincere, honest, and/or mature. Not all qualities are needed, but one or two would be great.
007. What would really take the cake for me is if they listened to me well enough that they remembered my birthday (it's December 27 and you will not imagine how many friends
forget it) and got me a cactus. Seriously.
11) How would they make a first impression on you?
Offer me an umbrella. I don't know why, but I've always kind of imagined someone randomly offering one to me after I discovered that I forgot mine, even after I told them that it's alright and that I don't mind getting wet (which is true). But that is fantasy #345. Realistically, I would most likely notice them because of something I overheard them say or because they caught my eye in someway.
12) A pickup line that is likely to work on you?
Pick-up lines really don't work on me. I either don't understand it, find it pathetic, or just shuffle away uncomfortably. Really, saying hello and becoming acquaintances with me is the best way to go if someone wants a date with me. But (and here comes another fantasy), I've imagined a guy coming up to me and saying, "Hey, I saw you reading *insert book/author*. I like them/that book too," and then starting a conversation about it with me, inviting me to coffee afterwards.
Together
13) What would the ideal date be like?
I don't really have an ideal like others have; I like dates to be simple, fun, and meaningful in some way, so any place as long as we could enjoy ourselves and each other's company and be ourselves. But, Fantasy #2351 is spending hours inside a cafe talking over coffee after taking a walk in the snow and having a small snowball fight.
14) How would family life be for you? (Kids, pets...)
Um... hopefully it would be a good one where there wasn't a lot of fighting or arguments. My ideal is to have a quiet, peaceful lifestyle, but if we had kids, I wouldn't mind a bit of insanity. XD House and such doesn't really matter; I would clean it up and improve it over time.
And speaking of them, I would like to have a few kids as well, but no more than three, one of them being a boy because the first boy that I have I am going to name after my grandfather (first name) and father (middle name). As for pets, I adore cats and have developed a love for small birds, but anything would be fine with me except for turtles (because they are so messy), and small dogs (messy and most of them are very annoying).
15) If you knew your girlfriend/boyfriend wanted to switch their gender, what would you do?
I would be freaked out a bit, and make sure to find out why they wanted to change genders, and if it wasn't for something stupid, then I would respect their choice and be supportive. I don't know if I would want to continue our relationship, seeing as I have defined lines of which gender I like romantically, but that would be the only reason why I would break it off. Not because I found it disgusting or anything, but because of how I feel about it in terms of if I would be comfortable with it or not.
Finally
16) Your favorite pairing in Reborn? (And why you like them, not why they’re made for each other.)
Knowing KHR a lot better than when I first did this, I would have to say that my favorite pairing would be Yamamoto and Gokudera because of the bond that they have. A lot can be written about it, ranging from angst to humor to fluff to adventure and romance. Even if they're not put into a relationship, I just adore their wacky friendship.
I also adore Mukuro and Hibari because of the banter that one can make them go through, and because of the complex relationship that they have. So, so, so much can be written for that as well.
17) Which character do you think you would be the least compatible with and why?
Hum. Xanxus, I think. We never really got to know much about him, did we, aside that he was kind of a brat? Eh, he just seems to be a bit too forceful if you asked me, and besides, he has Squallo. I adore Squallo and his whole, "What? No! Come back to the sword!" thing with Yamamoto. Why would I want to make him sad or bring on his wrath...?
18) Which one of those stereotypes would you rather date, and why?
The Nerd - Spending most time in parents’ basement. Caring and appreciating, but has a very little experience, and talks a lot about games and such.
The Maniac - Very appreciating, gives you gifts all the time and is very protective. However, jealous and clingy.
The Charmer - Very charismatic, good looking and witty. However, pays a lot of attentions to others beside you as well.
The Next-Door - Sweet, liked by your parents and loyal. Very traditional and predictable, through.
The Adventurer - You won't see much of this one, but he's exotic and will send you lot of postcards, and might take you to exiting places.
The Clown - Very funny, and not afraid to be a little crazy sometimes, but has a hard time taking serious things seriously.
The Businessman/Office Lady - A really serious partner that spends more time in the office than in the bed, but is ambitious and rich. Is about as funny as having a cold.
I have thought about this and changed my opinion about this a little bit from what my last response from the first time that I did this.
Thinking about what I like in a person and what I am comfortable with, I would most likely visit the Businessman because if he is out dating, then he is not as cold hearted as he might be seen as by most people. Personally, I think that these people just need to be given a chance and some time to loosen up and become comfortable with someone. This is the kind of person that I need, seeing as I am not overly romantic or sure of myself in that department either. I need someone who is willing to go step by step with me and will understand if I am not comfortable or ready for public displays of affection and the like.
And I think that this type of person and I would get along even more because we both understand what it means to be committed to something, and acknowledge that one cannot just drop it like a hot potato, especially if it's job related. Plus, we might have some shared interests like economics, business, technology, etc. Of course, I would demand that if he could not spend time with me, he would have to at least get decent hours of sleep and be sure to eat something decent for breakfast and dinner, and call to say hi here and there until we were able to go out.
