holidays
So Christmas was good. I spent the day at Jason's place with Dad and Geoff. (yeah my relationship with Geoff is weird but whatever..) We had presnets and food and fun! I got lots of awesome presents and everyone seemed to like what I got them too.
My birthday was good too. The family came over for presents and cake and again I got wonderful presents. Though I have to figure out how to use my sewing machine. It's been like 10 years since I last used one. Since I last was near one, really. So I need to teach myself a lot. School will never happen ever, so I'll just start from scratch in my own home. That way I can work at my own pace, and not get in debt. I'm sure I can look up different techniques online or learn them through ppl.
My birthday Evo went well. I got kinda drunk, but that's ok, I'm allowed. I got a little emo though cuz of ex boyfriends. I guess I'm not ready to see Adam as a friend. :(
It would have been nice if more ppl came out but oh well, I still had fun.
So New Years Eve party last night! I had a couple choices of what to do. But the one that sounded the most likely to not make me emo again involved being Shannon's date to a party where I knew absolutely no one else. I had seen a couple ppl at previous parties but never was formally introduced or talked to them. And for not knowing anyone, I actually had a lot of fun. Mingling is easy and by the time midnight came around I was feeling pretty good. :)
Though I'm totally not used to being single. And having to go to parties by myself is a little strange. Probably why I attached myself to Shannon for New Years. But as I've been told, being single is ok. And I have wonderful friends. ^_^
