The Week
So last weekend on Father's day, Jason, Martina, Leif, Dad and I went to a chinese restaurant for morning tea. It was a... cultural experience. Not much vegetarian but the things that were were pretty good. Nothing like what I've eaten before for the most part. :) (And Leif thought the table-cloth was edible...) After that we went back to Jason and Martina's place so dad could open his present and then headed off to the Buccaneer Day midway. Dad went to pick up Geoff from work, so all of us could go on rides! Dad doesn't go on rides so he happily watched Leif while the 4 of us played around. It was a little expensive but fun.
Things are a little awkward with me and Geoff. We're in a relationship-limbo right now. Nothing has really changed drastically physically, just mentally. And we have our good days and bad. Obviously Father's Day doesn't have much to do with Geoff since it's my dad, but I was glad it turned out really well!
I'm still wearing my "promise ring". Not really sure why, but I feel like I should wear it until the day we move into seperate apartments...
And besides, it's a pretty ring.
Anyway, I wasn't working on my comic there for a bit cuz I was stuck on what this guy should look like. He's the last main character that had no face. So the other day I sat down determined to draw him. If you concentrate too hard your pencil creats crap. So after a recyled piece of paper and a few deep breaths my pencil took my away and he was created. Finally! Now I can work on my comic this weekend! I might possibly upload it onto facebook. Don't hold your breath though...
