Shetland Rams Fighting

The video is unedited and gets boring after 4:30 minutes. It is also in High Definition. I got worried several times filming it about getting hit, but the rams did not seem interested in me. I also had my shepard's crook in front of me for defense in case one decided to take a run at my legs.

The sheep had just been sheared (you can hear the ewes being sheared in the background) and they do not know each other after being sheared, so the boys have to fight it out.

Rex demonstrates why he earned his name as "King" and defeats both Willy and Indiana at the same time. Isidore was not interested in fighting at all and ate the whole time. The other, younger rams were merely flies on the minds of the big rams, and even though Aiden decided he wanted to "mount" the big guys - they just shrug him off as the "little shit".

I was also fascinated about why a ram's horns curl like that - they protect his eyes. If you notice, Indiana's horns have a wide curl and Willie's are a very tight curl. Rex has a perfect curl and I believe, though Indiana is considered the most desirable in the breed, that Rex's horns are what nature intended.
